Asanti Signature Cut Diamonds

Isee2 - Round Brilliant Diamond

To enable the objective evaluation and comparison of different diamonds, the Isee2 technology bases its measurements on 3 parameters: brilliance, scintillation and symmetry.

Brilliance is a measure of the total light that is returned by a stone, including white and colored light. Scintillation is determined by flashes of light emanating from a lit diamond. By comparing consecutive images, the Isee2 technology measures location, amount and level of these flashes. Symmetry is defined by the repetition of identical light patterns generated by stone. The degree of symmetry is largely dependent on the precision of the cut, this reflecting the craftsman of the diamond cutter/polisher.

The Isee2 beauty evaluator takes a multitude of pictures of each diamond, while constantly altering the internal lighting conditions. This enables the calculation of dynamic features such as scintillation. Regular calibration allows measurements to be repetitive and reproducible.
